Mood

We have chosen to make the mood of the music video quite mellow and slow. We all decided this would fit well with the song because it is a down beat slow song about two lovers that have lost contact with eachother, we want to portray this sad kind of feel through out. The song describes the sadness of the lovers that have lost contact but as the song progresses the song begins to become abit more upbeat and this will be evident in the video by the presence of the red bolloon. We are wanted to film the more slow and sad part of the song as being black and white, we chose this because the narrative of our video is that the main girl is looking back to her past relationship, When we see the girl looking back this will be shot in normal colour signifying the happiness of her past relationship, the black and white also makes it seem like more of a home video which is the look we are aiming for. When the black and white shots are shown we wanted to have a balloon featured through out and this will be shown in a bright colour (preferably red) which represents the hope she still has.

The use of the red balloon been shown in the black and white shots is iconic and will add to the unique feel of our video. This shot will be featured throughout the music video aswell as in our logo and the album art. This will be a good symbol to identify our band and the album.

This is the type of black and white colour footage we are hoping to be able to use through the music video as well as the album work.
